Yes, you are right....that is like saying serotonin=happiness.

I read that partial, non-selective NDMA antagonists, seem to work quite good. Memantine, like it's 'mother', amantadine, are both partial NMDA antagonists. I think I was just getting too much antagonism.

I read that Magnesium is a strong NMDA antagonist. Calcium is the opposite, an agonist, partial. I have tried Magnesium dozens of times, and always feel like crap, afterwards. Calcium puts me to sleep. So, I am going to try another NMDA agonist, d-serine. (Which actually works good in people with schizophrenia, though I (don't think??) I don't have that...
