My doctor has advised me that I should switch from Zoloft to Celexa. Everything I have read says that you should stop your current anti-depressant for at least 2 weeks prior to taking Celexa. Has anyone switched an anti-depressant one day and started another the next?

I've gone from one SSRI to another without any break several times, and never had a problem with it. Luvox to Paxil, Paxil to Zoloft, Zoloft to Celexa. My doctor did advise a more gradual transition from Prozac to the Luvox, because Prozac stays in your system alot longer than the others. YMMV.

In the last three months, I've gone from Prozac to Celexa to Zoloft with no pause in between and so far no negative results. I was surprised that you could do this.
