I have this problem: Reboxetine(Edronax) is good medication for me, but it caused impotence. Its kind
of double edged sword : it increase e.g drive, motivation and libido, but make impossible to have sex.
I have this same problem with all drugs that increases noradrenaline in my body: it causes impotence
and difficulties to urinate. It seem that muscles in genital area get tensed, and the blood doesn't flow
like it should, even my penis shrings and feels cold. So i got idea of using Tamsulosin(Flomax in US)
to relax muscles in genital area. My psychiatrist discuss first with urologist because he does not
have experience of using that drug, urologist show "green light" and i got prescription. Urologist
hinder my excitement saying that it wont work to impotence problem, it might work to urinary difficulties
But I'm VERY HAPPY!! to say that it WORKS, and works for good BOTH problems.
I'm very intrested to know if anybody have similar experiences...i'ts really worth of while try if you have
similar problems and good doctor who is willing to experiment. There comes to my mind one more solution to use
it: if you have problems with erection because of mental tension(e.g..demand for performance..new partner)
it might help?.I'm very intrested what medical professionals and experts say about this!

Sorry about delay of answering..
I'l take it daily,at first i took 1x0.4mg capsule
day. It make me possible to urinate normally, and
helped little on impotence. Then i upped dosage to
2x0.8mg and wonder happened: impotence disappear
completely. I have take Flomax now three weeks and
returned to 1x0.4mg dosage and it works very well..
I dont know if it work only take days of sex, in
theory yes: it relax genital muscles when the
medication gets your system. But it seems to
be more effective when taken regularly. I think
that Flomax is pretty safe drug to use, even at
long times. I have notice one side-effect: delay
of ejaculation but not bad as e.g. Prozac
Hope this helps!

> I'm very intrested what medical professionals and experts say about this! How much Reboxetine are you taking? Are you in the US? How long have you
been on Reboxetine? I know that some side effects tend to go away with
time. It's good that you have a doc who's willing to work with you on the issue. Good luck!

I'm not from US, i live europe, so i don't know if Reboxetine(Edronax) is available
in US.I have tried many antidepressants before, i'ts best medification so far: my main
symptoms for depression was: lack of drive, motivation, constantly tiredness, unable to
enjoy nothing and common hopeless. I'ts kind of stimulating and mind clearing drug.
I'ts effect resembles lot of ephedrine. I take 2x4mg tablets a day and been taking
it 6 weeks now. I began notice side-effects almost immediately i started it, they
were: sweating, mild nausea, feeling of high bloodpressure, gold shiwers all over
body. But they were not that bad like they sounds, and they gone away pretty soon,
longest last: sweating, about two weeks. But i was not soaking wet all the time,
only if i do something physical or it was hot weather. Now i don't notice any of
side effects, maybe its hard to fell a sleep sometimes, but thats fine because i
was so tired before and required lot of sleep.I'ts nice feeling to feel
active and fresh and not tired,i hated medications which make me tired and
sleepy because i was tired allready. Sorry about this babling, hope you get
answers..
