is anyone familiar with IV ritalin abuse in adults? This is a prescribed med for narcolepsy(in this case)

Had not heard of IV abuse, but have heard of people crushing it and snorting it. I guess other drugs have similar progressions (cocaine for one).

Amphetamines are very addictive. In a book 'Speed Society' (I don't remember the name of the author, they have it in New York public library) a study was quoted that found amphetamines to be at twice as addictive as heroin. Ritalin is notorious among addicts.
