Luvox-help!

Posted by Danny on January 6, 2000, at 19:45:15

I have been trying lots of meds for depression since Paxil stopped working. Luvox was one of the few that worked, but it gave me stomach cramps. I have irritable bowel syndrome and weight loss, so I had to quit it quickly. Now I'm wondering if that might be a short term side effect. I've tried most of the other common AD's and I'm getting desperate. Any experiences? Thanks very much.

Luvox made me ill once when I didn't take it on a full stomach (I got nauseous when I took it on an empty stomach). Hopefully, that will diminish over time.--Cindy W

take gingerroot for nausea. It works like a charm for me. Make sure it's gingerroot (not simply ginger). Luvox made me sick (at first) too. Janice
