I have had depression and anxiety for about 21/2 years now
and was on Serzone but doesn't seem to be working. I have been
on 10 mg of Celexa for about 14 days now and don't feel near as
anxious and have been sleeping better, but I am tired all the time.
Does this side effect ever go away and how long do I have
to stay on this stuff before I notice any improvement. Maybe I am
not taking a high enough dosage. Any suggestions.

Hi Stacey, if you are not already doing it, try taking your dose of Celexa in the evening, this can help you feel more awake during the day.
Antidepressants usually take 4 to 6 weeks to reach full effectiveness. If you are already feeling improved, that is a good sign that Celexa is the right drug for you. Once the antidepressant really kicks in, the tiredness should go away. Good luck! Let us know how you're doing! CarolAnn
