> thanks roserose,
my hair has been falling out steadily since i started taking meds. last night, as i sat at my desk, i realized that watched, hair was falling into my lap and onto the book i was reading!
i've started using nioxin, which i'm told stops the hair loss, but doesnt really encourage hair growth.
i know that there've been lots of posts regarding hair loss on antidepressants and the like; it seems unavoidable for many, just like weight gain.
hope this helps.

I also had problems with hair loss due to ADs. Seems to affect certain women on certain meds.... and its different for each woman! Oh great, she says!
My worst problem was caused by Prozac. Luckily my hairloss stopped after about 3-4 mths. When I started Celexa, it happened again, but much less loss and it only lasted a few weeks - then stopped completely.
Tell your doc, for sure, so he/she can at least report it to the drug manufactuere. Not enough people report this stuff - so its a big surprise to us lucky folks.
Here's a site where you can at least find others in the same boat:

I know how upsetting it can be. Hang in there!
