Thought I'd post some pleasant news for once. Since
I've lost my surrogate family, I thought I'd be alone
on Easter. The friend I made at the hospital has invited me
to his home for dinner. He & his wife are seperated but
on holidays they and their grown children get together.I'm a bit anxious about meeting the new people but I'll
get thru it.

This is the first Easter in my whole life I think that I can't visit my family (4 l/2 hour drive away) because I couldn't get an animal sitter for this weekend. Will find ways to amuse myself, however, so the time won't be wasted!
Happy Easter to everybody!

Sounds good Harry. My wife and I are having her adult children plus her ex for Easter dinner. It's really pretty easy for the whole family to get along. There is no animosity and thus just a nice time for everyone.
I hope you make it through the weekend with pleasant thoughts.

harry, go to the dinner with an open mind.
Some of the best times I've had in my life, we're at social "things" that I almost didn't go to because of my depression, fear, worry, ect.!
I am betting that once you get "warmed up" at your friend's house, you will be very glad that you went. Let yourself have a good time! CarolAnn

It is nice to hear about families who can get together for holidays like that, post-divorce!
Harry,
It sounds nice. Go, try to relax and go with the flow. Just enjoy the moment.
Happy Easter.

What is Easter? I saw a commercial for Paxil on television last night. Is Easter anything like Paxil? They both seem to involve some sort of colored capsule.

Yes, bo-o-o-B, and the capsule representative for Paxil hops and has long ears and a tail! Happy Easter to all!
