I just gotta say: for the first time in 12 years(when my bouts with depression and anxiety started) I finally have people in my life, yes cyberspace counts. that understand. Even the shrinks I went to weren't very helpful at first, they made me FEEL nuts. My family THOUGHT I was nuts and I was SURE of it. I just wanted to thank all of you for making me feel normal and not so scared and different. It really means a lot to me.---Tina

I love you, man! But you still can't have my Bud Light... Sorry to hear about the job, but now you can take some quality time for yourself and try to get on track. We're all just looking for a safe place to land. You're not different, you're special.
You'll be in my prayers every night.
Greg

Tina,
Glad we can make a difference in your life!! I wish I knew about this place during my major depression episode instead of finding it after the fact! And yet, I still feel happy coming here and helping anyone any way I can. I know from personal experience there is an end to the suffering, I sure didn't think there was at one time. I was never actually suicidal, but I had pretty much come to the conclusion I couldn't go on the way I felt any longer. One and a half years feeling like a piece of dirt is not pleasant. Seek help and don't stop until you find it!!!! Educate yourself, try and see if you can figure out what your specific problem is....ask people in here for they are so well informed. Never stop trying, one day you will reach the end of the journey and you will not be able to remember feeling like you do right now.

WooHoo! Tina, you are on target! I have learned so much, seen such support, enjoyed so much relevant humor here, felt so at ease, and love the name PsychoBabble--Thanks, everyone!
Oh, BTW, Greg--If you have a prayer list, would you please put me on it? It would mean a lot to me. Thanks very much--
Shar

Shar,
You'll be in my prayers, you can depend on that. I hope I'll be in yours too.We have something in common, I've been a friend of Bill W. for 12 years, small world huh? It would be interesting to see haw many people here are. I bet we're not alone....
Hugs,

I have said this so many times and will say it again--I don't know what I would do without my friends at babble.

You know, sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. You want to be where you can see our troubles are all the same. You want to go where everybody knows your name.
cheers,
