I am so tired of being depressed. I really thought effexor was going to work and it did for two days and then I got so sleepy and no energy. I went to the doctor this morning and he said lets try you on 150mg of effexor and if it doesn't help in a couple of days he will start me on a new medicine. I forget the name except it starts with a S.
Sometimes I get so tired of feeling this way and I know everyone around me gets tired of seeing me this way too. I really don't mean to grumble, but I know that you all understand. Well I start on 150mg of effexor in the morning. Maybe it will work. Thanks for putting up with me. Terry

Terry,
I can join you in your weariness. It takes lots of energy to try to get through life depressed. When I started Effexor I also started daily naps. So, My dr. added Wellbutrin. Now I don't really get so sleepy.If the new med is Serzone---I had a very bad experience with that. However, as you probably know, everyone is different. There are probably people on this board who love Serzone!
