Perhaps tomorrow, at a time that we can all agree on, maybe 11:00 edt which would be 8am on the west coast and 2pm on the east coast and 5pm for Nikki, maybe we could all just take a moment of silence together for a prayer for Cam and his family. Whatever religion we all are, we can send our thoughts and love to Alberta for Suzanne and all who loved her. Can we do that?
(I believe Cam wrote that her funeral is tomorrow, that's why I wanted to do this) Thanks--Tina

tina, what an incredibly lovely idea! I've read that the power of prayer is documented to be very effective the larger the numbers of participants. Perhaps in our moment of silence, we can bring comfort not only to Cam and his loved ones, but also to others who are going through such devastating experiences. My spirit will be sending love, 2:00pm. Bless you for thinking of this! CarolAnn

Tina, This is really a nice idea. At 8AM tomorrow I will take a moment to think of Suzanne and the rest of Cam's family.

Hi Tina - I am trying to work out the time difference between here (West Australia) and Alberta - Cam mentioned Tues 3pm MDT so I will dig out my old atlas and see if I can figure it out. I wonder if you (or anyone else) knows if there is daylight saving over there - I really would like to be joining in at the right time.
Thanks,
Best wishes
Deb.

I didn't put the moment of silence at the exact time of the funeral because I thought 11am edt would be easier for our international friends like you. Anything later and it might miss the day entirely. We are in daylight savings mode here now but I honestly have no idea what time that will be in Australia, I'm sorry. I hope you can observe it with us though. I think we should all say a prayer for eachother too.

That's 2pm for me and I will be there, he has been an amazing help to all of us despite his tragedy. I guess it may be true that you help yourself by helping others.

In reply to Deb-i think you're 9 hours away from Cam, posted by tina on June 13, 2000, at 7:00:15
Hi Tina,
Thanks for your posts - think I've got it figured, if my ancient atlas is right. I *think* that when it is 5am in Canada, it is 8pm here, on the same day. However, when I think of it as 9 hours difference as per your post, that seems right too, if you know what I mean (counting from 8pm to 5am instead of 5am to 8pm!) Confusing. Anyway I think at 6am here tomorrow (counting back 15 hours would make it 3pm in Alberta) I will be lighting a candle for Suzanne.
Thanks Tina for this great idea,Best wishes,
Deb.

Tina.
i think this was a wonderfulidea, and I hope my thoughts at 5pm this evening were joined by mnay others.
Sorry for not posting sooner, but my internet connection wouldn't let me post last night, and I wasn't in the office today.. (our free connection is only 6pm - midnight at home)
My thoughts were there today though...
