Just wanted to say, and for everyone elses benefit too..
I'm crashing low and bad this week. the nager is getitng out of control, and I simply can't say anything nice to anyone. I'm very very defensive, and feel others don't understand, so I get angry, and say really innopropriate things.
As such, I'm keind not replying to anything, as I don't want to upset / offend anyone.
Just when there was light... I go right down again. This is the worst I've felt snce the cutting episode - And I'm really scared I'll be going that route again. And I don't think my husband would be so understanding a second time.
I physically hurt all over, every movemment causes pain, every touch hurts... And I so badly didn't want to ahve to resort to babbling here as usual.
Plus.. when I get overly stressed, cough, things like that.. I pee myself... I hate that....

Nikki - I really doubt that you can offend us. You have too 'real' a core. You are too compassionate and friendly. My personal advise to you is rest and pee often. Hope you feel better soon and keep us posted. A concerned Cam.

Nikki:
I haven't been offended by you yet. If you say you're angry, it sounds genuine, and real, and what you feel. And that's hardly ever offensive.I hate all the f'ing frustration that goes along with healing, and just like you said...one step up and 2 down.
I will shake my fist on your behalf and on my own behalf!
Keep on peein' (I know exactly what you are talking about)
Shar

This is just a bump in the road. Sorry you are down.
The light is still there, just hard to see.
One thing that helps sometimes to break the 'everything hurts' cycle is to do hot /cold showers. It is a bit uncomfortable to do but does seem to break the cycle of normal things hurt.
The way it works is to alternate as hot as you can tolerat with as cold as you can tolerate in the shower. Go for about 10 mins. Each cycle of hot /cold about 30 sec. Quick change from 1 to the other.
The first time you do it, you will swear that it is torture. Afterwards the normal sensations are back.
That other route you mentioned is closed & under replacement with a new one. Can't go that way again !
Make a plan to do something new tomorrow. how about an onion, bananna, mayo & peanut butter sandwitch ?

Nikki honey, you can vent, babble, ranble, yell, scream, holler anything that makes you feel better. No offense will be taken. We are here for just those times so babble your heart out.
Love ya and many hugs
Tina
