zoloft withdrawal

I been a Zoloft for 2 years. I have tried to go off at different times. I have expienced nausua, diaherria,chills,shaking feeling, headaches, etc. I have also gained weight. I asked my dr to start decreasing the doses and he refused. I'm taking 200 mgs. daily. Please help me?

why did your doctor refuse. i have had all the same symptoms and am going off now. slowly read more of these threads. there is some good adive.
like taking 100mg one day and 75 next day. alternating for a week and then lowering the dose.
i also have gained a lot of weight and am going off
to see if i can lose it. don't know which is worse at this point.
