i guess the first part of my message was cut off, but in short, i took remeron for the first time, and i felt like i was drugged. did anyone else feel this way, and for how long.. i started at 60 mg.

60 mg is a very high dose. I think I started at 15 and moved up from there. I never took more than 45mg, and that was too sedating for me. Yes, it will knock you out at first, but this side effect should dissipate. It is, however, very often used for insomnia.
