Please help guys! My mom's starting this med. and we know nothing about it except what the doctor is telling her. (which we all know may not be the whole truth) I'm reading all the withdrawal posts and it scares me to see this drug is sooooo addicting. I'm curious to find out why so many people are getting off it. It was portrayed to us as a maintenance type drug-something to maintain her everyday anxiety... in other words, long-term. Also she has no depression problems now. Anxiety is her only problem. Does the depression come before the drug or after? Does anyone feel that the med. caused their depression, or caused it to get worse? Please answer........
