Jacquie,
I don't know anything about taking these drugs with you across the borders. I wouldn't suspect there is any problem with that. Getting back into the USA might be more of a concern. I don't know how they deal with that. You might want to find a phone number for Customs and ask them just to be sure you do it however they want it done. They might require to see a copy of your prescription maybe? Or a doctor's note maybe? Or maybe you can declare the drugs to Customs as you leave the country and maybe they give you some kind of authorization to bring them back in when you return? I don't know. Good question. In your shoes I would try to find a phone number for Customs and ask them.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
John

Thanks much!

Hi again Jacquie,
I think you could try taking Adrafinil with you. I would, in your shoes. However, take just what you will require for the trip and no more. Leave the rest at home. I would bring just what I needed in the original box and foil wrap, but leave at home the remainder. I'm pretty sure you would have no problem at all taking Adrafinil with you. If there was any problem at all, it would be re-entering the USA. But by then, your supply for the trip would be about finished anyway, yeah? Theoretically if you took with you just what you needed for the trip, then upon re-entering the USA you wouldn't have any left to worry about anyway.

John,
Thanks! My sentiments exactly. I wasthinking along the same lines.
Especially since I am going to Holland, they'll
think I detoured into amsterdam and pickup a few tidbits
on the way through! I am trying adranfanil for the second time. I tried it
for one week and althougt felt quite good, the stomach upset seemed
to turn the experience into a nightmare, but the docs
had tried me on so many other things it was hard to differentiate what was what.
I do get a little nervous about stimulating the ole
brain too much though. What are your thoughts on that?
My doc was thoroughly against it, but i have tried
celexa, paxil, wellbutrin and that horrible thing called
desyrl. Now I lay low and wean of klonopin and try
to function without the aid of anyhting, which doesn;t
always do the trick, whatever the trick is,,,,generally
trying to keep in the up and up. Adrafanil was wonderful,
but i noticed i had to increase after a week as if it were like
an amphetamine or something. Thoughts???
Mucho thanks,
Jacquie
