Well I went to my appointment yesterday and came home with yet another drug to take and higher doses on the other.....He raised my EffexorXR to 150mg and my WellbutrinSR to 150mg 2x per day....Also he raised my bloodpressure med Ziac to 5mg and added 25mg of Tenormin to the mix for my shaking hands and agitation...and ambien for sleep......How does that sound.....Anyone on this combination and have had good success with it?...I read that the Tenormin was for bloodpressure and I really don't understand how it works on the shaking hands and nervousness but he said it would.
Let me know what you think about this.
Thanks Danf and everyone on the great responses to my post!!!!!
Thanks and have a great day!God Bless!!

I have seen quite a few folks that have used tenormin for the shakes & liked it.
Most of the beta blockers have an anti-shake or tremor property that is apart from the BP effect & have been used for this for many years.
I have been on pindolol + effexor ( 150) because of its additive effect to some of the ADs ( this may be small, but every bit helps).
My shake /tremor was/is from anxiety & not caused directly by the effexor. it did not get worse or better on the effexor.
good luck & let us know how it does.

Thanks for the info Danf,I think my shaking hands is due to the rising agitation cased by the Effexor and Wellbutrin hype.....I remember when I first started taking Wellbutrin it kinda made me more agitated and nervous until my system got used to it.
I just wanted to say thanks for your help....It's tuff when you start on meds and you read so many negative affects to it.....but me personally I had to have some help to get out of this whole I was in and was so ready to accept it.....and most importantly I do feel I am getting better with these meds.Happy Thoughts to you!!!!
