Would low dose xanax be ok while one is going on to different meds. because I've got lots of anxiety, etc. and cycling while trying to get on depakote and be off zoloft, lamictal, & neurontin.... and wait to see what's next...they want me to try moban and possibly parnate. I have lots of agitation and cycling...when does depakote start helping? Some say go slow with depakote start but some say to get it up as quick as you can...I have no prob with 125 in the am and pm/could do more

I can't see why you can't take the Xanax now. And the Depakote is just like an antidepressant, it takes 4-6 weeks to work for full mood stability--regardless of dosage.
