My doctor has never even heard of this drug (adafranil). she was considering prescribing me modafinal. does anyone know the differences between these two drugs besides the cost? I am having fatigue during the day and would like to try one.

The doc has never heard of Adrafinil because it is not a USA drug. It is from Europe.I've tried both Adrafinil and Modafinil. Adrafinil is far superior and far cheaper. In my opinion. In my experience. Modafinil actually made me more tired. The stimulating effects of Adrafinil take days to weeks to kick in though, so don't expect to feel like you are on some kind of speed or stimulant. It is a stimulant, but not like the others.
I love Adrafinil and wouldn't even think of living without it.
