Does anyone have experiences with this combo ?
I take Edronax with limited success. Would this combo enhance the noradrenaline or the serotonine action ? Probably this is dose dependent of both drugs. At low doses Effexor acts like an SSRI an could be a good adjunct to Edronax ?!
I have this idea because I had troubles with high doses of SSRI (Celexa too sedating, Zoloft awful nausea) and could tolerate Effexor only up to 150 mg (headaches).
Any ideas or experiences ?

Yes I,ve been on this combo for 2+ years. With 75mg effexor which acts on seretonin and 8mg rebox nor-adrenaline
I still remained kinda sedated but was motivated to do things .The effexor has been increased to 150mg and I'm suffering from anxiety and reduced appetite and feeling a churning in my stomache.
Whether or not the small amount of norephinerine [I can never spell or pronounce that damn word ] in 150mg effexor is causing this I don't know probably have to give it more time.
But give it a go.I may reduce rebox as I feel too much 'fight or flight response' is no good for my particular anxiety but only increased effexor 2 weeks ago so I'll hang on.
Let me know if you try the combo.
Also the rebox can help with sexual problems.

The reboxetine 6 mg (3 weeks) is too stimulating for me. I am nervous all the time (increased heart rate and slepp probs) and have urogenital probs (impotence and a little urinary retention). Are this side effects fading away ? I suffer from melancholic mood and the reboxetine worked very quickly and pooped out after 3 weeks (placebo effect ?).
At the time I think more to ad something more calming like Remeron or Paxil. Effexor is stimulating to (at low ore higer doses ?).
I had a short trial with Remeron 7.5 mg to 60 mg Celexa but I gave it up cause of too much sedation and feelings of weakness. Perhaps the dose was too low ?

I also think rebox has pooped out for me. I tried to reduce it but got incredibly angry and irritable so restarted. I suppose it must be doing something but will try reducing again. 8mg of rebox a day with 75mg effexor worked well for 2+ years but still got intermittent tiredness. Socially it doesn't help, my pdoc raved about helping with social phobia, only worked for the first 2 weeks .
My heart/pulse rate is 120 my doc said this is ok for my age~34. I do suffer from nightmares but this may be increase in effexor and takes a long time to fade. No urinary retention or impotence~being female, but I am sure it can cause nervousness and irritability in some people I only take it for the tiredness from effexor and think now it's not working.
Effexor at higher doses does relieve tiredness so they say I take 150mg and it has a little adrenaline effect. Not quite sure what the dose is for full norphinepine someone else would know. I think that the amount of adrenaline in my system would get a sloth in the olympics but I'm still tired .
Only working on one brain cell at the moment.
It is hard to find something that doesn't sedate too much or stimulate I'm still searching for that in-betweeny. Hope this helps.
Maybe a high dose of effexor then add a little amount of rebox 2mg just in the morning adding more if needed ?All the best.
This is the end of the thread.
