Gave it up, but feeling urges to start again; wondering if anyone has info on the effects that smoking might have while a person is on a variety of these meds/cocktail? Thanks.

If you went through the hassle of giving it up, don't start again. I smoke, have had "successful" periods not smoking (for 3 or so months) on 3 different occasions.
As far as the effect of smoking, my pdoc said that I would probably need higher doses of meds because of it. And I've been told it seriously depletes your vitamin C. To avoid as much damage as possible, take vites that fight free radicals.
I'll keep fingers crossed that you don't start again.

If anything, smoking will sometimes speed up the metabolism of drugs, which means sometimes you might need a slightly higher dose to compensate.
