Has anyone been perscribed both Wellbutrin and Celexa? I was on Celexa for several months but it had too many sexual side effects. Wellbutrin alone did nothing for my depression. Now I am on 10 mg of Celexa and 100 mg of Wellbutrin a day. This has helped with my depression but the sexual side effects are back? Has anyone had any success with any other combination that eleviates depression but has no sexual side effects?

If the Wellbutrin never does anything for your sexual dysfunction, then I would suggest dropping it in favor of mirtazapine: http://www.dr-bob.org/tips/split/Mirtazapine-for-SSRI-ADRs.html

I read from a medical site that taking 240 mg Gingko (120 mg twice a day) helps with SSRI induced sexual side effects. It helped me. I take only half that much along with Celexa and it reversed those side effects. Ask your doctor. The only precaution with Ginkgo is if you have bleeding problems.
