I have been on Depakote for 8 months and it kind of helps. pdoc has thought of some suggestions, but I wonder, what experience others have had with their treatment resistant very rapid cycling BP? If something isn't working do you just keep adding things? Do you drop something? How do you keep track that anything you take is working?

As a general rule of thumb: If you have any positive reaction, however minor, keep that med and add to it. If you don't have ANY reaction to it, if it does nothing for you, drop it and try for something else.
Obviously, your mileage may vary. But I do know I wish someone had told ME this in the beginning!sl
