I love the effects of the drug, but the insomnia is about to drive me out of my mind. I barely got to sleep for the last few nights, and I feel like crap. Is this due to the ampetamine metabolites? How long do they stay in the system? Help!

You might find it useful to add a benzo or Ambien to the selegiline. Some people have added atypical neuroleptics to MAOI's for sleep-- such as Zyprexa.

When I participated in the selegiline patch clinical trial, we were allowed to use Ambien for sleep. It worked well for me.
