Why do I continue to think I can go off meds? 2 weeks of feeling great and forget meds I say to myself. Crash. I'm in a crash. It is the flat effect of Celexa that makes me want to go off. It is the heart exhaustion feeling that makes me want to drop Wellbutrin. The more WB I take to counteract Celexa the more Klonopin I need to overcome anxiety. Do I need to ask my pdoc for a mood stabilizer?

This is a hard one. I don't think it is a normal desire, like you are thirsty so you get a drink of water. My mother takes a prescribed antacid for a hernia in her throat, as soon as she's doing good she tries to cut the medication. She has a difficult time talking without the meds. Even after three years she still yaps about skipping days.
I use a buddy system for my meds, my father reminds me to take them and I remind him. The thing about our meds if we crash it affects our whole being.
I can't comment on your combination because I'm not familiar with them, but I know when the heat was up north here I was tempted to play around with my medication thinking that they were the cause of my discomfort, but in reality I think everyone was suffering.
BEST WISHES

You may need to rethink your cocktail. But do NOT quit meds without some plan for dealing with the withdrawal and rebound depression! Even if you could handle life without meds, you'd have a hard time those first weeks. Talk to your doc!
