Dexedrine makes my day but wrecks my night. What potions do you all use to combat stimulant insomnia?

Trazodone. Or you could use some over-the-counter benadryl.

Trazodone is longer-acting, I believe. Ambien only lasts about 4 hours.

I take Prozac in the morning, and a little trazodone and xanax at night for sleeping. It works well. Ambien is not good for me, it only lasts 4 hours and is expensive. Generic dyserel [trazodone] and generic xanax are inexpensive and work better [together]

I take 150mg of Trazodone and .5mg of Ativan. It works well. However, I take Ritalin instead of dex and its short life rarely impacts my sleep.

I take Ritalin also. It does not affect my sleep.

I would suggest maybe something like chamomile tea during the night extra strength(2 tsp or 2 tea bags)or you can get chamomile essential oil and use it to add to your bath for a nice relaxing time, and great for your skin. I also find vlaerian made by natural resources (at walgreen) 100mg extract (1.6mg valerenic acid) for the theorized release of gaba it produces, whhc would relax you. subjectivley 1 to 4 vlaerian extract pills do well to counteract anxiety without be knocked out. These are just suggestions that worked for me, you may have different experieneces with the herbs, because we all have different systems and or reeactins to things that are quit paradoxial to the theorized effect. Bless you, sweet dreams
