has anyone ever leveled out on the lack of sex drive while on effexor? I just started and have been on it for 3 weeks...and I feel better..but I don't want to give up my sex life...does this side effect go away?

I'd love to tell you yes, but it *usually* doesn't go away... altho everyone is different. I never got it back, but it came back full force as soon as I stopped. Check out the archives. There is a lot of info on it.

Louise- Answer to first question--yes. To second question--rarely, unless you go off the med.
