Has anyone found mirtazapine (remeron/zispin) has helped? I don't want to go on benzos.I am having cbt and believe it to be more effect for anxiety long term anyway. Paroxetine made it worse. I've only been on mirtzapine for a week at 30mg and although it has helped with sleep I haven't noticed any effect on anxiety.

Remeron 45mg SolTabs seems to help with my anxiety. I am fairly pleased with Remeron, as it has done a lot in elevating my mood and improving my sleep. I find it strange that Paxil worsened your anxiety level. I think, however, that it is common in the beginning of treatment for some individuals. Did you take it for at least a month before you decided to stop taking it? I started taking it last week for anxiety and OCD. I'm about half-way through the starter pack. So far so good with me, but I guess mileage varies. I hope you find something that works for you.
