I'm convinced I would be 100% better with Adderall, Desoxyn or Dexedrine... however, I am also convinced that a doctor will not prescribe them to me as it seems that they are only prescibed in very serious cases of lethargy...of from a doctor who isn't afraid to prescribe.
Is there any way to get them w/out a script?
I was doing a gazzillion times better with a combo Zeffer-Butrin...but the kick is wearing off fast...and I am now having considerable agitation in my legs...at work my legs are always bouncing...and at night when trying to go to sleep I have to shake and move them.
Very discouraging...
After work all I want to do is sleep...and sleep many of my weekends away.Any suggestions?

If someone was to divulge a method to obtain
these class II FDA-DEA restricted meds without a
script they would be abetting in a
crime. So please don't ask. If you need a
legitimate prescription and your doctor is
hesitant then find another physician who can
give you an accurate diagonisis.

The only way to get Schedule II drugs w/out a prescription is illegally. A reasonable psychiatrist would probably only prescribe them for three reasons: ADD/ADHD, narcolepsy, or augmenting an antidepressant. I don't think they're used alone in the treatment of depression because of their abuse potential and side-effect profile. Mention Ritalin augmentation to your doctor during your next visit. He or she probably won't write a prescription for an amphetamine like Dexedrine or Adderall. Good luck, and hope you feel better soon.
BTW, if you live in the states, I don't think Desoxyn is an option b/c it was removed from the market.

I may be mistaken, but I believe desoxyn is still an option in the states. I think I've seen it in the Tips section here PB, & possibly at dr. ivan's depression central too.
However, doc's are even more hesitant/resistant to prescribe desoxyn, than they are to prescribe the other stimulants - if you can imagine that.
I think it's the image that desoxyn (i.e.: methamphetamine, I believe) has as an evil/dangerous street drug.
