I've had a better reaction to desipramine than any of the other countless meds I've tried, but I think it causes awful side effects -- worsening of vision, digestive malfunctioning, sexual dysfunction, urinary retention, etc. So I've thought about trying reboxetine. Problem is, I live in America, where it's not yet approved. Plus I'm getting maintenance ECT, and I don't know if it's okay to take reboxetine while getting ECT. Please give me any feedback you have on this. Where can I get it online? Is it safe with ECT?

To be honest, I've never yet heard of any med being given concurrently with ECT. Not enough is known of combining ECT with meds & doctors would rather be safe than sorry.
I hope if this has changed, someone will let you know I'm wrong.

Yes, it's safe with ECT. I was getting ECT while taking Reboxetine, and I see the specialist.
