I told my pdoc I'm worried about being on risperdal, so he's tapering me off of it. He wants me to go from 1mg to 1/2mg. Is this too fast? Should I go from 1mg to 3/4mg?

I don't think you'll have any problems if you drop from 1mg to a half. What is it that you are worried about with the Risperdal?

Tardive Dyskinesia (sp?) mostly (Neuroleptic Malignent Syndrome too). I've heard that the slower you taper off of an anti-psychotic med the less chance you have of getting TD.
