Will carbamazepine be effective in controlling seizures and mood if it is given all in one dose at bedtime? I can't tolerate it otherwise. Thanks for any response...

I am just about to be put on this for a grand mal seizure episode. How much are you taking and how did they tell you to take it. The neurologist thinks the grand mal was from cold turkeying the Klonopin -- but doesn't want to take any chances (and I am still on the Klonopin).
I am really curious about side effects -- can you help me here? I'll try to find out what I can about your question -- but ultimately it is your doctor who has to answer that question for you.
