When I first went on Celexa, its effect was very powerful. I could get by on 10 or 20 mg. But recently it hasnt seemed that effective even at 40 mg. I've switched to 10 mg. of Lexapro. Is there any reason to belive that Lexapro might give me the old effect? I suppose one advantage would be that I could take more (relatively speaking) without having to worry so much about side effects.

From my own experience, I started on 20 mg Ceelxa 3 years a go and gradually increased to 60 mg. I did good at 60. I now take 20 mg Lexapro and feel less tired during the day than on Celexa. I'm feeling pretty good.
