I cant look into the eyes of the people, when I talk my view is on the floor always . I dont have friends ,I cant , I dont have girlfriend either. Its impossible to me to talk with anybody , besides Iam a depressed

I have the same problem I wonder if its from my medicine (Zyprexa). I was diagnosed as SP once they seem to have changed there minds a lot though so realy don't know what my problem is. I've been taking Zp for 4 years now that works and that seems to be all they tell me? Apart from not knowing what my illness is.

I don't understand how if you had SP you would not know that you had it. If there is any question in your mind that you have SP you either don't have it or are in denial. Do you feel unconfortable around people? Do you afraid of embarrarassing yourself? If the answer is yes then you have SP. Welcome to the club!

I agree with backoftheclass, if you have SP you know it! You may not know the name, but you know there's a problem. It sounds to me like you do know it. However, sebastian asked a good question about the zyprexa. I have severe SP and it definitely aggrevated my symptoms when I took it. Did you have problems with social anxiety before you started taking zyprexa? In any event, one measure of social anxiety is the LSAS. I'll past a link to it below.
