150 mg. The lower doses probably have some *mild* norepinephrine activity as well though.

Nobody's "sure". Most of the time they aren't even positive HOW psychiatric meds work, just that they do.
Each person is different, each person has their own levels of meds that work for them. Don't assume you MUST get to such-and-such a dosage for it to work for you, give it a chance. :)
Good luck with that...
slPS if you go off EffexorXR at some point in the future, take it super-slow or it'll be like having the bad flu for 2+ weeks!!

>Similar activity as Tricyclic Antidepressants
>Serotonin Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor
>Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (<150 mg/day)
>Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor (>150 mg/day)
>Minimally inhibits Dopamine uptakeI got that from www.fpnotebook.com/PSY173.htm
You can find the same info all over the net though... and 150 mg seems to be the accepted upon dose for norepinephrine activity. However, like someone else said - it's not the same for everyone. Some users might get signifigant noradrenergic activity at 75 mg, while for others it might take 225 mg.
This is the end of the thread.
