Hey Nardilites, I'm on 60mg, for ~ 1.5 weeks now... Seem better, but I have bad days too... How long does it take to get the full benefits from Nardil, and are the "full" benefits that much better than the first week?

You might have a long way to go. This time seems nothing. When you get the full benifits you'll know about it - big time! During the period before it kicked in for me (It kicked in after 6 weeks) I had some, what I will call, pre-therapeutic kick-ins. But at 6 weeks, boy it started. At 7 weeks my smile was so wide you could stuff 4000 of those orange babies in my mouth. I love the stuff. Give it time but.
4 months later it is still working like a gem. Only a bit of OCD left and tiny bit of phobic anxiety I have to clean up - hence the Lithium. But I'll tell you, Naardil has been EXTRORDINARY (sp?) for me!

MAOIs take eight to ten weeks to totally run in. Nothing works in a week and a half- you should know that by now if you've made it to MAOIs.
Nardil is great stuff, and I bet it's fabulous with lithium. It's pretty damn good on its own.missliz

This is always how nardil works for me .... need to take 60mgs for 4 weeks with little effect. I then jump up to 75mg for 3 days to "jump start" the depression, and I feel worse for those 3 days and a 1 day after that. Then the depression "shuts off" at week 5. I don't know why, but this is how it works for me.
