Is there a way of getting rid of the sedation from remeron? I can't take more than 15mg. 15 mgs eliminates the sexual side effects from paxil. Ginkgo biloba helps a bit. Anything else to help?

Why is that?

15 mg is the most sedating dose (for most people). Increasing to 30 or 45 mg generally eliminates the sedative effect altogether.

I started on 30 mg of remeron. When a few months passed and I had to go off here is what happened. Whet down to 22.5 and was knocked out pretty good, went to 15 and felt horrible and really groggy, 7.5 felt bad, and even cut that in half. I had little AD effect under 30. The lower I went the worse I felt. When I went off the first few days were heaven (I was still on 50 mg of a TCA). Remeron cleared quick from my system with no withdrawl, I actually felt better quitting it. Why can't you take more than 15?

I've taken 15, 30 AND 45 (at different times). I am currently on 45 and it is much more activating (energizing) than the lower doses. A combo of Pazil AND Remeron at the same time would be extremely sedating for me. I am surprised you can even function, lol!
