All except the 2mg, that is, though they'll be out shortly. Right now, the 0.125, 0.25, 0.5, and 1mg doses are in pharmacies!

Thanks for the notice; that indicates an
awareness that this benzo is strong. I had
a devil of a time cutting to w/d (which i
never managed), but it would have helped to
have the 0.125 pill then. You say wafer; does that come with a
prayer brochure? just kidding;Squiggles

Just wondering because it would seem to be a disadvantage if you couldn't. I like having the 1 mg pills so if I only want to take a half, I can.
The half life would be the same, right?

I can't say I know much about the pharmacology of the pills, though I'm positive they could be divided. I don' tknow what else to say about his right now, but I'll fill you in when I make the switch in June

You might also inquire about the price--I have this feeling that they're going to make us pay for the "privilege" of having fine-tuned doses like .125mg. and .25 mg.
For example, Ask your pharmacy what you'd pay for 100 of the regular .5 mg. tabs and what you'd pay for 100 of the .5 mg. wafers. If there's a big difference, it would probably mean we're paying for the R&D, etc. of the lower-dose wafers. I'm not an economist. Just being skeptical and hope I'm making sense.

I agree, since benzos are off patent, this is just another way for Roche to make some bucks. I've been taking klonopin and other benzos sub-ling for years, so I'm not willing to spend the extra bucks for a better tasting version. thanks for posting the news- judy

I think there might be a great advantage
to this - it is easier to cut if you wish
to withdraw and the 0.50mg pill is a very
large potion; one can cut that, but even
the crumbs will make a difference in effect.
Perhaps there is money to be made, but
if there is an advantage, i have no objections.
Drug companies are not government charities.

you're right, it should really help if someone wants to taper off- especially at the lower doses. I think paxil makes a liquid form for this purpose, does anyone know of any other meds that have liquid forms for tapering? thanks-judy
