If anyone knows of a pharmacy with a lot of the best prices on medicines, I would be grateful if you let me know.

In my local area in the mid-south, USA, Wal-Mart is not the least expensive. It only makes sense since Wal-Mart is not in the business of buying and selling drugs. Think of Wal-Mart as a shopping mall; they buy drugs from an independent pharmacy and rent out floor space for their pharmacy department. This causes prices to be higher. In my area anyway, Wal-Mart sells Lexapro for ten dollars more per monthly dosing schedule. I find that locally owned pharmacies run by one pharmacist is always the least expensive place to buy drugs, especially if their building is an older building. You're not paying for the high rent of a new building. New buildings, multiple employees working in the pharmacy department, and big name stores such as Wal-Mart, Kroger, and chain store pharmacies are always more expensive. It always pays to get a price quote. My local pharamcist makes a point of buying at the lowest cost he can find, and will also let me know if it is cheaper to buy at a higher dose and break tablet in half, instead of buying at the lower prescribed dose, which can sometimes cost more per prescribed dose. I've also purchased through a Canadian pharmacy with no problems with the greatest savings of all. That worked great when I new that I was going to be on a certain drug for more than a few months (they usually only sell in large quantities).
