hypothetical--if someone were taking 25mg for 2 days, 50mg for a 2 weeks, then 100mg for 2 weeks, would it be safe to stop abruptly? Or how would that person taper? (If that person were taking it for bipolar as an adjunct to zyprexa with a view to replacing it)

hi,
With Topamax it's unsafe to stop abruptly because of the possibility of a seizure. The doctor will tell you how to taper off slowly. The tapering is not longer than 2 weeks I'm pretty sure.
