I only took Effexor for two weeks- got up to 112.5mg and then backed it down to 75mg before I quit. I am also taking 100mg of zoloft. Dr. said I wouldn't have to ween myself off of the Effexor because the Zoloft would take care of any withdrawal effects. Today is my second day not taking it and I woke up with a headache and feel very sedated. Any suggestions??

I think that your doctor is giving good advise. Hang in there.
