I have Xanax that I use as a security blanket. It was prescribed like 2 years ago. Is it still good, does it have a shelf life. If I needed it say tomorrow, would it even work?

My guess would be - yes they would work. A year ago I had 20 tabs of valium with expiration date going back to 4 years and they worked just like the normal ones. I've read somewhere that as long as benzos are kept in decent environment - they are allright to use even after expiration date. But it's up to you if you want to use it - I just shared my story :)
