HPA axis, sexuality, and sleep?

For those of you further along in amateur neuroscience than I am, are there things the HPA axis does that correlate strongly with the desires for sex and sleep?

Cam W., I found your post from 4/28/00 and find it quite efficacious. However, my symptoms are the opposite of the "typical" depressive (increased desire for sleep and sex) so what else can go wrong in hormone regulation besides what you described then?
