> Hi, I have spent many years going from medications that have been used to try and treat me. Only recently have I found a psychiatrist whom I trust. I just started taking Prozac at 40 mgs. per day and Wellbutrin SR. at 300 Mgs. per day. Since I am pretty much addicted to drinking a full Colada, aka Cuban coffee, each day, I am wondering if that can interfere with Prozac and Wellbutrin kicking in or working to treat my Depression and ADHD disorders? If anyone knows, or has some input I would appreciate your feedback. Also I would like to know how long does it take for Prozac at 40 Mgs., and Wellbutrin SR at 300 Mgs. each day to work or kick in???? I appreciate all feedback. I hope it will not take longer than a month, for me to start feeling better, since I want my life back. Thanks Good Faith Please email me at Jay@chamelmusic.com

I just started taking 20mg of Prozac plus 150mg of Wellbutrin SR about three weeks ago for depression and social phobia. I had taken Prozac alone before with no side effects but I didn't want to do much of anything, no motivation. When I started taking them both, at first I felt very nervous for about 4 days, enough to where I almost stopped the Wellbutrin SR. I hung in there and am glad I did because I'm feeling much better. The Prozac is helping my depression as it did before but with the addition of Wellbutrin SR, I feel more energized and even more sexual, which before taking Prozac alone snuffed out completely. What also smooths it out I think is the long half life of Prozac. I've tried other meds alone like Paxil and although it worked pretty good, it was like a roller coaster ride because of the short half life.
