I've been taking 20mg of Prozac a day for almost a year and my sex drive is practically non-exsistant. Otherwise, everything else is much better. Is there any other SSRI that doesn't take away the desire to have sex? Zoloft is what I'm most curious about. Thanks for any advice.

With most SSRI's you are going to experience low sex drive. I'm also taking 20mg Prozac and to offset this problem my doctor prescribed 150mg Wellbutrin SR to take with the Prozac and it has helped tremendously for me. I added the Wellbutrin SR about 3 weeks ago and this weekend when I was around my girlfriend I noticed myself getting wound up and much more sexual than I've been in months. The sex was intense and she even asked what had come over me. It wasn't just the initial desire but even orgasm was much more intense. If Prozac is working I personnally wouldn't start all over with Zoloft or another SSRI but add 150mg of Wellbutrin SR to your Prozac. I will say as with any new drug the side effect I most noticed was aggitation and kind of cranky in general for about 3-4 days, after that no side effects and after about three weeks I felt the postive effects!! Good Luck.
