Hi.
Does anyone experience cognitive or memory impairments while taking higher dosages of Lamictal? I'm not sure how much of my cognitive dulling is due to Lamictal versus the depression itself. I think I experience brain fog and poorer memory when I take 300mg.
Thanks for any input.

I could notice cognitive impairment at doses higher than 150mg. Other side effects were insomnia and panic.

Thanks for responding.
How would you describe the cognitive impairments that Lamictal produces?

It's been a while since I've been on Lamictal, but if memory serves the main problem was with information processing rather than memory recall. It was more difficult to see the 'big picture': how the individual components of a problem formed part of a whole, if you get my meaning. It is difficult to describe. I definitely felt 'stupider'.
