Who uses REMERON for sleeping difficulties? I have no trouble getting to sleep, but then I only have "micro" sleeps throughout the night (basically waking up every 10 minutes and flipping over....kind-of like frying a hamburger patty! LOL!!)
But now that I'm on Celexa, I tend to become wide awake at either 3am or 5am....and that's the end of my "micro" sleeps.
Will Remeron help me to STAY asleep? Will I feel drugged in the morning? What dose is used for insomnia?
Thanks so much!!

Hi,
i think it's great for insomnia especially at 30mg or higher, but you will get sleepy at 15mg also. You will not feel drugged in the norning, quite the opposite, remeron can be very acivating so you wake up fresh in the morning. Go for it!
good luck.

LOW-DOSE is best and 7.5 mg should be all you need. 15 mg will work well also but the higher that you go, typically, the LESS the sedation effect! 7.5 mg should work fine.

Put it this way: At one point I was taking almost 160mg of Adderall and I was still able to sleep because of the Remeron.

Thanks for both your messages. I'm excited now to try Remeron! Nothing else has worked, and having poor sleep is not very conducive to good mental health! Lol!
Our formulary only sells Remeron in 30mg tablets. Are they scored to allow for 7.5mg? I can imagine I'll be making a lot of dust by chopping them in quarters. And a pill cutter costs a lot here.
Do you feel drugged when you start to fall alseep? I tend to freak if I feel drugged.
Thanks so much for the info!
