Going from 75 mg of effexor to 50 mg of zoloft, because effexor makes me aggressive and gives me chest pain. What should I expect ???

i don't know how the effexor made you feel, but at low doses, it made me really tired all the time. going from 75mg of effexor to <50mg of zoloft, i felt much more awake, but also really jumpy. if you're not as sensitive to the activating effects of SSRIs, you'll probably be fine. in any case, you might want to go slow in increasing your dose of zoloft. it took me months to work my way up to 50mgs. hope this helps!
