Hi all my good friends and peers,
Well, I had a wonderful 2 and 1/2 year hiatus from the "beast." Now I feel like crying all day, have those hopeless thoughts, and wonder what happened.
I got DISengaged from my fiance SEVEN months ago, but still am grieving the loss--my first heartbreak. I also quit Seroquel 2-3 months ago and have had trouble sleeping, etc.
Is this just normal grief or is it the big "D" or maybe a midlife crisis.
Any feedback or comments welcome!
Thanks a bunch.
Mimi

Mimi,
Maybe you should not have quit the Seroquil. Did you do so under Doctor supervision/ approval?
2 1/2 years of remission is great. But no one should have to go through the relapse. Im sure all of us have. Thats reality (at least the way I see it). I would talk to your doctor, if you havnt yet. Sorry Im not much help. I trying to kick this funk as well.
Good Luck-Best Wishes,
Cindy

>Thanks Cindy!
I went back on the Seroquel three nights ago. Today is the first day of feeling well. What a difference!!!
Course I have the Seroquel side effects again: not being able to wake up early and pressure in my eyes. Conveniently, I see my pdoc tomorrow.
Oh well, guess I really am mentally ill. Sucks doesn't it!?
