re TSH levels and thyroid meds

I just wanted to thank everyone for the input - I can't tell you how great it was to get some more information.

Just to answer a couple of questions - I am 35 and I had the twins 2 years ago (I also have a 15 year old and a 10 year old).

I haven't found the l-tyrosine yet - but I did start taking 200mg of the selenium this morning (along with some zinc and b12! thanks tealady!.

I think I may just try this for 2 weeks before I start try the l-tyrosine (I am usually quick to jump to idea of the more the better - so I am trying moderation now :

I'll keep you all posted - and I am sure ask lots more questions.

BTW My pdoc had me on zyprexa and I gained 30 in about 2 months - I am off it now but I can't seem to loose weight (I am 5'8 and weigh 210 now - unaccaptable as I weighed 150 when I got pregnant with the twins 3 years ago) - anyway can the other meds I am still on be making it harder to loose the weight? I am on wellbutrin (300mg), Zoloft (200mg), Depakote (500mg twice a day) and risperdal (.5mg).

Ok I have rambled too much - thanks again for any and all input.
